I'm Simos Xenitellis, member of the Ubuntu-gr (Greece) team and localisation contributor for the Greek language.

Contributions

• Active member of the Ubuntu-gr (Greece) community since 2006.
• Actively contributing to bug reports at Launchpad, either general bug reports or related to internationalization.

• Member of the GNOME Foundation and active contributor to GNOME.

• Team coordinator for the Greek GNOME localisation project. My team completed the localisation of GNOME 2.26 in order to make Ubuntu more accessible to Greek-speaking users.

• Moderator at the forum.ubuntu-gr.org forum. The forum has reached 2900 members and is the official forum of the Ubuntu-Gr community.

• In 2007 I reached about 7000 in karma (launchpad) thanks to Ubuntu Answers.

• Attended London Bugjam '09.

Future Plans

• Promoting free and open-source software through the Ubuntu-gr community activities.

• Getting more Ubuntu-gr members apply to become Ubuntu members (like I do here).
