About Me
My name is Shawn and I use Ubuntu as my primary OS on all my computers. I love to learn about Operating Systems and love to find new functionality in them. Ubuntu caught my eye because of it's simplistic nature, security, and lack of reboots required after doing updates. I also do some programming, listen to music, and just hang out.
If you need some help, I can try to assist as much as possible on the forums or in the IRC Chats. Don't hesitate to hit me up.

What are my plans for Ubuntu?
My plans for Ubuntu is as follows:
- Use it as my primary OS
- Use it to learn programming as well as program
- Use it as a server for various uses
- Help others resolve issues that they face with it

What are your plans for the assisting Community?
I plan to create some custom programs to help aid with diagnostics, usability, and functionality. I already have a few projects I've been working on that have helped myself when working with my computer that I hope others will use and enjoy as well.
BBTERMED - Blackberry Terminal Editor - Created to help modify files when on a mobile device ssh'ing into a server or computer. Used to replace nano when a mobile device (phone) won't allow editing files.
PYDIAG - Python Diagnostic Utility - Used to help obtain necessary information that others, such as those in the forum or IRC chat, can use to help determine a resolution for the issue you are facing e.g. Video, Wireless, etc.
Other plans are to be available in the IRC and also make posts on the Forum to help others out.

Future aims are to help find and log bugs. Obtain certification for Ubuntu and Ubuntu Server platforms.
