General status
- New weekly upload, this time for the FF, so earlier in the week
- Unity 4.8.0 landed on time
- with new lenses views, supported by the new API and shared library changes
- with the BFB reshuffle
- with window spread support in ALT-Tab
- and some extra blur (the fallback trigger still needs tuning)
- Unity-QT followed on its heels
- with mostly the same new lenses, but slightly behind, being a bit short-staffed (fixed now)
- Compiz-0.9.5.90 released as well, albeit after the official FF to scatter releases for didrock's own sanity
- test packages available in launchpad.net/~dbarth/+archive/ppa
- fixes decorator performance issues

- we may request a FFE if the test results supports the request; otherwise will fallback to the previous version
- gsettings has been dropped from the scope of O, in agreement with Platform
- Indicators: a significant update of the system indicators was delivered, on time as well
- scanner, webcam detection added to devices menu
- track and player specific support added to the sound menu
- greeter mode added to several indicators for use in the greeter
- libindicate got GTK3 support and fixed GIR namespaces
- libindicator support for qt-sni icon changing
- app indicators support for middle click activation for specific menu items (power user feature)
- messaging menu item to clear the signalling
- UTouch: delivered the last work item on time as well
- Both eog and evince can now benefit from the utouch stack goodness: hurra!
- CJK issue
- Testing continued with OEM, no feedback from the call for testing on u-devel though
- Work on ibus progressing according to expectations; which should have test branches next week, and on track for a solid fix before Beta 1
Bugs on the radar
[805063]: on the work list, will start fixing those regressions next week
[806358]: probably a driver issue, passed to Jay for further investigation with the xorg team
[809378]: didrocks on top of it, was fixed but there is a further regression elsewhere
[814065]: invalid, design guidance sought
[810145]: incomplete, investigating to get a reproducible test case
