  2. Does your screen freeze when using the test script? (Can someone link to the script here?)
  3. What size is your screen(s) in pixels? Command: xdpyinfo | awk '/dimensions:/{print$2}'
  4. How much memory do you have? Command: free -m | awk '/Mem:/{print$2"M"}'

  5. What specific 965 model do you have? Command: lspci -vvnn | grep -A2 "VGA "
  6. Are you running with debug symbols? Detailed instructions: DebuggingSystemCrash and DebuggingProgramCrash

  7. Which type of Ubuntu are you running (32-bit or 64-bit)? Command: uname -m
  8. Does your screen freeze while running the Jaunty live-cd?
  9. If you can reproduce the problem, please check if you can still reproduce it with version 2.6.3-0ubuntu9pitti4 from Martin Pitt's PPA. That version removes a patch which was meant to prevent a problem on the i945, but the patch never worked very well.
