Line 1: Line 1:
The WikiTeam was established by the DocumentationTeam to attempt to take care of the wiki's structure and organisation. This page will collect projects for the WikiTeam which will arise from time to time and some of which will be ongoing. First, a number of things that the WikiTeam will '''not''' do: Its a team of active wiki contributors that new writers/contributors can look to for questions or guidance on what to do and also a way of working as a team to get things done quicker without redundancy. Feel free to edit/create new pages for the wiki if you aren't a member, there are no restrictions regarding that. We are working on some guidelines for wiki editing, find them at WikiGuide

First, a number of things that the WikiTeam must '''not''' do:
Line 5: Line 7:
 * Change the substantive content of pages
Discuss this page on the [http://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-doc Docteam mailing list]. To file bugs about the wiki or make feature requests, please visit the ["wiki"] page.
Line 10: Line 13:
 * Rectify the situation with broken icons
  * ''add explanation''
 * Remove Double Page Titles
 * Coordinate Categorisation of Pages
 * Make UserDocumentation really rock by creating links to existing documentation!
 * Coordinate categorisation of pages

In general, see the page WikiToDo, and add to it!

(Please move this to a better place. Or better yet, fix the problem, then delete this evidence that the problem ever existed.)

On several other wiki my "name" is DavidCary.

I wish someone would fix the login page so it wouldn't misleadingly ask for a "name" and "password".

I kept attempting to log in with "DavidCary", "David", "Davidcary", etc., and it always claimed I used a bad password.

Eventually I guessed that what it really wanted was my "email address" and "password".
