## I have deep interests in the adoption of FOSS for the improvement of public education in my home country. At the moment I am advocating Ubuntu as a viable distribution for local adoption in the computerization project of public schools (for Grades 1 to 6) in my area. Target fields of study are: Math, English and Science. This is accomplished via [http://www.edubuntu.org Edubuntu]

## I was involved in some targets for Breezy. Check out my [http://udu.wiki.ubuntu.com Ubuntu Down Under] participation in my [http://udu.wiki.ubuntu.com/JeromeGotangcoActivity Activity Page].

## I'm currently a member of the LaptopTestingTeam and armed with a [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ToshibaTecraM2 Toshiba Tecra M2].

## I'm heavily involved with improving a11y support for Dapper.

## I've started contributing to [http://www.theopencd.org The OpenCD] project. A collection of WinFOSS in one CD. You can check out the work in progress for the next version of the CD at http://orchard.theopencd.org

## Finally, in my home country, I organize activites for the Ubuntu Local Community PhilippineTeam. I can be reached via email at jgotangco@ubuntu.com
