I first installed Ubuntu 9/2005 with the Breezy Release Candidate and have never looked back. I'm currently a student in my first year at university studying mathematics. I've made 6 Ubuntu converts, as well several dozen 'firefoxers' and a handful introduced to openoffice.

- Registered on the forums in October 2005. I've been a regular poster since, amassing about 1500 posts assisting other users as well as requesting help for my own.
http://ubuntuforums.org have been the difference for me between Ubuntu and other Linux distributions, offering a wealth of information, support and advice which assisted my with my switch from windows xp. I was appointed a moderator on the 10th of October 2006
