We uploaded the 3.5.0-15.[20-22] Quantal kernel. These uploads contained an update to the v3.5.4 upstream stable kernel, eCryptfs bug fixes, Haswell graphics support patches, an updated and re-enabled aufs, i915 backlight control fixes, and Cypress PS/2 trackpad tap-to-click fixes. As usual, we uploaded this kernel to the ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport PPA to facilitate testing of the 12.10 kernel in 12.04. Please test and let us know your results. |

This most notably contained some critical bug fixes for the following: * Bug:1061599 - beagle: omap3: usb is dead * Bug:1021471 - clone() hang when creating new network namespace * Bug:1030233 -not have bluetooth usb 0489:e046 Foxconn / Hon Hai * Bug:717970 - After sleep, key presses get lost and trackpad is jittery As usual, we also uploaded this kernel to the ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport PPA to facilitate testing of the 12.10 kernel in 12.04. What was done engineering wise?
We received a freeze exception this week and uploaded the 3.5.0-17.28 kernel. This most notably contained some critical bug fixes for the following:
1061599 - beagle: omap3: usb is dead
1021471 - clone() hang when creating new network namespace
1030233 -not have bluetooth usb 0489:e046 Foxconn / Hon Hai
717970 - After sleep, key presses get lost and trackpad is jittery
As usual, we also uploaded this kernel to the ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport PPA to facilitate testing of the 12.10 kernel in 12.04. Please test and let us know your results.
