Join us in the #kubuntu chat room for support or the #kubuntu-devel chat room for general Kubuntu development.

This page provides you with the information necessary in order to get in contact with other Kubuntu users or with the Kubuntu team.

Real-time communication is conducted over InternetRelayChat (IRC) while a great majority of communications, that are meant to reach everyone, are conducted through email on multiple mailing lists.

Mailing Lists

The core mailing lists for Kubuntu are located on the Ubuntu Mailman network. If you are unfamiliar with using a mailing list, please refer to the Ubuntu Mailing List Etiquette. All mailing lists require you to be registered prior to receiving or reading messages from your mail client. You can still send without registering, however your mail will be held in a queue, therefor slowing down your communications. It is recommended that you register an account prior to sending messages to the list.
