Superkaramba, despite being a combination of C++ and Python which sounds absolutely horrendous, is in fact one of the most powerful desktop development tools I've ever encountered. The speed of C++, the power of KDE and the flexibility of python are an unrivalled combination. Modifications to superkaramba I've made include the ability to read the user's KDE menu. So you can develop themes (kroller.sez is an example) that totally replace all of the functionality of kicker.

Okay, I redid the Usplash artwork to look more like the Ubuntu one, how do you like it?
