Summary
Go through the system settings in Kubuntu and improve their usability. First priority should be settings that are required after initial startup.
Rationale
Users who do not succeed to setup their basic system right away are likely to de-install Kubuntu before they even probed it for every-day tasks.
Use cases
Basic idea: User installs Kubuntu. After initial startup
- most hardware was detected properly, or
- some hardware was not detected properly and needs to be fixed.
Afterwards, the user wants to adjust the system to fit his/her needs.
Detailed use cases need to be worked out together with developers (see BoF below).

BoF agenda and discussion
- Finding out what problems may occure during installation and in how far they can be solved through the user interface.
- Creating use cases for different types of user, different conditions, different task goals regarding setup.
