1. Availability: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/libn/libnfsidmap/, compiled on all arches.

2. Rationale: New build dependency of nfs-utils which is already in main.

• The package is very young, so there is no real security history yet.

• Checked source for most common pitfalls (array access, str...() calls, sprint() calls), no obvious flaws.

• Installation: only a library, no end user tool.
• Bugs: no relevant Debian bugs, no upstream bug tracker
• No special hardware interaction.

• Standard debhelper packaging.

• FHS met.
• Debian package and library policy met.
