Meeting

We will be having our first meeting this Thursday, (14th December 2006) at 5:30pm GMT+8 in #ubuntu-my. We hope that everyone will be able to attend. More info is on the mailing list.

26 -29 Of September 2005: HITB Security Conference Malaysia - We had successfully distributed about 600 CDs to the conference participants.

We also successfully distributed out 600 Ubuntu Dapper Drake CDs plus almost 200 older version of Ubuntu. We also receive good feedbacks from the visitors and some of them are interested to use it. 11 August 2006: 150+ Ubuntu 6.06 LTS CDs for IIUM

I have sent over 150+ Ubuntu 6.06 LTS to [http://www.iiu.edu.my International Islamic University Malaysia] (IIUM) for the Department of Information & Communication Technology to be used in their labs. IIUM's Matriculation Center in PJ have 5 computer labs with 30 computers in each lab. So, each lab will be allocated with 30 CD for the students who want to use Ubuntu.
