I started ubuntu a while back and decided to try to start my home page here to keep as a sort of road map of my progress through the education of trial and error in computing. I started with Breezy. I bought a magazine with the install disk. The article had the catch the ubuntu had received a award for being the most user friendly distro. I knew that this would be the best one for me because I was Linux illiterate. For the most part I still am. I have updated to Dapper. I did have at one time the ability to transfer files from one computer to the other in my network. The network has always worked on these computers unless I broke it. I now have Dapper on my newest computer and Breezy on the older one.
