| I have successfully founded and lead the Argentina LoCo team, with which we have accomplished a lot in translations (UWN's and Rosetta), support a large amount of spanish speaking users in Ubuntuforums and introduced many new users to Ubuntu. | Moderating the mailing list [https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-ar] I'm actively helping out in the MarketingTeam with php coding for the DIY webpage (and eventually spreadubuntu), getting the UWN out every week (well, almost) and generally trying to pitch in wherever needed. I also handle the Ubuntu Stickers distribution in Argentina which System76 provides, sending them all over the country and making sure big projects that use Ubuntu get the stickers and LiveCDs to distribute. Translating in Rosetta and some Wiki pages to spanish. The thing I probably enjoyed the most is introducing users to Ubuntu, mainly non-Linux users by installing it on their systems and walking them through the adaptation process until they get used to the new environment. I take notes on what problems users bump into and try to get the message through to developers via the forums or bug tracking. |
