I've been a Free Software CLI tools user since 1996. My Linux experience started with a fail attempt at installing Red Hat in 1999, immediately followed by a successful Debian install on the same hardware. I've been a satisfied Free Desktop user ever since. While I have been maintaining Debian packages since 2003, my main focus has always been on advocacy, rather than on software development.
