Meetings

First meeting will be Thursday August 23rd. Location is TBD.

The location is looking like it will be somewhere around Plymouth. See this [http://salgat.googlepages.com/ubuntumaps.html map] (you will need to zoom in). To add yourself to that map give Salgat your zip code in #ubuntu-michigan on irc. That way we can better figure out a location that has the best chance of getting more people.

Also, we have "meetings" on IRC all the time. They may not be official, bu we are discussing many topics pertaining to the LoCo team all the time. So come in and join the fun!

How to Contribute

Right now the basic way to contribute to this team is to help us with the critical mass of getting it off the ground. Please join the Launchpad group and sign up for the mailing list. After the first meeting we will have an idea of where everybody wants this team to go.

Launchpad Membership Policy

Very simple, request to join and you will be approved.

When you apply for membership for the team on Launchpad, please either have a public email on your Launchpad account, or join the [https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/Ubuntu-us-mi mailing list]. This is because, at this point in time, there is no function for the group leader to contact all Launchpad group members.
