The Syracuse area New York State LoCo is holding an introduction to opensource software and Ubuntu on Saturday February 20th from 1 to 4pm.

Don Newell - He will be presenting "What is Open-Source?" which is an introduction to open source and how it impacts daily life.
Lou Ruppert - He will be presenting "Safe Computing Through Better Software" which walks through practical examples of using open source software in daily life.
