Communication is key for a large community like Ubuntu and the UWN provides an excellent avenue for keeping everyone abreast of what is happening in various projects. The Lo``Co Council is a great place to not only recognize the continuing hard work teams do to promote and support Ubuntu, but also to help teams grow and expand their reach within the respective locales. |

About Me
I'm a software architect living in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I've been using Linux on and off for about 10 years. My first attempt was in college with Red Hat 4.2. Since then, I've installed and used Slackware, Gentoo, Debian, tried a couple of the BSDs (FreeBSD and OpenBSD), as well as Solaris on x86. As of recent, I've been using Ubuntu full-time since Breezy.
I co-host the Ubuntu Podcast which is a video-only show discussing the latest happenings from around the Ubuntu community.
