If you would like to get more information about exactly what failed during a purchase or installation, or if you would like to provide more details for a bug report or support ticket, please do the following:

 * Open a terminal, such as '''gnome-terminal'''.
 * Run '''software-center | tee usc.log''' in the terminal.
 * Attempt to install the failing package in Software Center.
 * As soon as the install fails, note what the last messages were in the terminal and then quit from Software Center.
 * Attach the usc.log file to your bug report or support request. It may be helpful if you add a note in the log file first pointing out the point where the install failed.
