Selfmade Gaming Console
Overview
This project describes how to build a gaming console with Ubuntu as OS and many open source games to play.
Goals
- O/S: Ubuntu
- no specific hardware requirement. could be build withe an Barebone, Netbook or old PC
- complete controls via Gamepad
- No Keyboard usage
- Connect to TV screen
- Open source games from the Ubuntu repositories
Issues
- How to control the Linux-Desktop (Unity) completely via gamepad.
- Create a list of suitable games
- e.g. Implement an on screen keyboard
