Current Issues

Issues with suspend to ram

Issues with wireless (no hardware detected)

* Power Management

  • Gnome power management doesn't give correct values : time remaining indicated is not reliable : it CHANGES all the time ! From one read to another it goes from 42mn to 2h 10, through 1h, all in 5mn and 2% battery later. Added to this : sometimes it detects a critically low level and immediately shutdown !
  • Battery charge applet : no time indicated, only percentage (look reliable)
  • Suspend capabilities : suspend to ram (Sleep) doesn't work.

* Touchpad

  • Kinda work, the touchpad is very slow and System->Preferences->Mouse doesn't seem to apply anything

=> May be a X-Server configuration pb, other similar pbs have been reported, perhaps same xconfig file just works.

  • Touchpad left-click (on it, not click buttons below) straight on the surface doesn't work either, as well as vertical and horizontal scrolls.
  • The 2 buttons that work for left and right click work out of the box.
