Current Issues

Current Testing Dapper Beta2

Wifi is working however as one can see in the lspci output not recognized. I can put the machine to sleep or hibernate with Special Keys or using Ubuntu, however the machine will not wake up nor reboot to the original desktop. So neither sleep nor hibernation seems to work.

I did not manage to connect an external monitor with the VGA connection.

Further, infrared did not work.

Notes

The first try for installing did not work see [http://launchpad.net/bugs/42339 #42339]. However the second try succeded.

I got wireless to work by installing ipw3945-1.0.0 and ieee80211-1.1.13. However the GNOME Network Manager has disappeared and I did not manged to restart. I am using KWIFIManager currently. I installed SMP package for dual core support.

Note that the X60 is almost identical to the X60s (the X60s has a low-powered CPU, but the rest of the hardware is the same or similar). There seems to be a lot more activity on the [LaptopTestingTeam/ThinkpadX60s X60s] page - possibly having two pages is redundant?
