Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex): When using headphones, speakers are still active. To fix it edit startup script /etc/rc.local

#at the and of the line, before "exit 0" append:
rmmod snd_hda_intel

alsa force-reload

Edit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base

Ubuntu GNU/Linux 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope): Device and networks detected, but WiFi led blinks, and the avaiability too. Major times cannot connect to any network, and when connect is very unstable and the traffic fails. The computer case labels wireless device as "Atheros AR5B91", but is detected as "AR928X"
