Help on the mailing list and the IRC channel
Lend a hand with people's questions and problems on the mailing list and the IRC channel:

- hang out in #ubuntu-server on the Freenode IRC.
Triage and fix bugs
Have a look at the [https://bugs.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-server/+mentoring list of bug where mentoring for newcomers is available], pick one and work on it : comment, ask for advice from the mentor and submit a patch.
You can also view the [https://bugs.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-server/ list of bugs related to the ServerTeam] and help triaging them or submit patches for outstanding bugs we have.
Participate in testing plans
The Ubuntu Server Team is always looking for testers:
Test the ubuntu-server daily release

Maintain documentation

Write specifications
