  • AddingRepositoriesHowto - Increase the number of packages available to install on your system. What are repositories? Read: ["Repositories"]

  • SynapticHowto - Synaptic (graphical tool for apt-get) allows installation, upgrading and removing of programs. These instructions assume that you have permission to run [:RootSudo:sudo]. (If you installed Ubuntu yourself, you do.)
