New Status in Launchpad
The mobile test team is currently running at a delayed cycle from main Ubuntu releases. This means we are fixing packages that have already been released. For this reason we have a need for a new status for the bug workflow.
An example is an apport bug in Hardy that cropped in UME. We needed an upstream fix to be tested in UME, but there was no way to set the status to something confirming the fix passed.
Currently the best solution we have is a tag Verification-Needed and Verification-done
I feel we need a standard bug status that marks when a fix has been commited and the defect has been confirmed to be fixed by test.
