Linux Kernel 5.8 Gets First Point Release, It’s Now Ready for Mass Adoption

Marius Nestor reminds us that Linux Kernel 5.8 is dubbed one of the biggest kernel releases due to its many new features, additional hardware support and security enhancements. Listing some of these details, we are then told Greg Kroah-Hartman has announced 5.8.1 with a number of bug fixes. Links are, of course, provided.

LibreOffice 6.4.6 Office Suite Update Arrives with 70 Bug Fixes, Download Now

Marius Nestor informs us that the Document Foundation has released LibreOffice 6.4.6, including 70 bug fixes, which should improve interoperability with proprietary formats. We are told the release is recommended for all users, when the next release is due, and provided links should we need more info.
