What I used to do on Ubuntu
- advocacy (booth, presentations, etc.) in France
- help integrating and fixing GNOME
- bug triaging
- make sure support for my laptop was good
- co-mentored a Summer of Code project
- UDN (Ubuntu Desktop News)
