| I have been pro-OSS for the past few years, converting many people to Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird, but have been reluctant to propose that everyone use Linux, as it was simply too difficult for many people, until Ubuntu came along, that is. The more people involved in Ubuntu, the better, so I am involved in AustralianTeam, spreading Ubuntu throughout Australia! I know that Ubuntu has the potential, but we now need the marketing. | |

I've been fairly active in the Ubuntu community since I joined it in early 2005. My contributions include:
Starting the Ubuntu AustralianTeam.
Managing the web hosting for the AustralianTeam.
- Regular bug triage throughout Malone.
- Updating/correcting/beautifying pages on the Ubuntu Wiki.
- Merging and requesting syncs during Edgy development.
- Doing a lot of general MOTU work.
- X stuff.
