About Me

My name is Ana Figueiras and I'm an Ubuntu user since the Hoary Hedgehog (Ubuntu 5.04). I'm on Launchpad since 2005 and have been contibuting mostly on translations and on the Portuguese LocoTeam.

I'm from Madeira but currently live in Lisbon. I have a degree on journalism (Communication Sciences), a master on New Media and Web Practices, and I'm currently doing a PhD in Digital Media.
