This Ubuntu migration procedure makes the following assumptions

• The user knows how to determine the total size (in Megabytes or Gigabytes) of their hard drive(s)
• The user knows the difference between a physical hard drive and a Windows Drive (i.e. C:)
• The user knows what physical hard drive their Windows OS is installed on (this only applies when there is more than one physical hard drive in the machine).

• The user knows the difference between Physical Memory and Hard Drive Space

• The user is familiar with the term partition on a physical hard drive

• The user is familiar with the term dual boot
