  • Reasons why you should switch:
    • Your old hardware is still useful, you don't have to buy something new
    • Vista isn't stepping up, but there are actually alternatives
    • From a casual user standpoint, it's a lot more fun with the eyecandy
    • Local intimate human support and community (might drive attendance)
    • No viruses or spyware
    • Package manager is awesome
    • Fast turnaround time for updates/fixes, and it monitors everything
  • Problems with Ubuntu:

    • Outlook to Evolution
    • Partition smoothness
    • Vista grub problems
