  You have done something with Ubuntu recently and are frustrated or excited about it. Let us know! Talk about it, share your experience/thoughts.
  3. Present your issue. (~20 min)
    * We will ask people who attend in hope to find help to explain their issue with Ubuntu to the audience. If you aren't comfortable speaking in front of an audience you can explain your issue in your RSVP.
    * Volunteer helpers who have experience with the issue can say so and start working 1 on 1.
    * If a volunteer helper thinks the issue can be fixed and explained understandable within less than 5 minutes he can choose to explain it to the audience in a lightning talk format.
  4. Spread out and start working 1 on 1. (~3 h)
  5. Finish and clean up. (~30 min)

Ubuntu Vancouver strives to offer support to residents of Vancouver (and surrounding areas) who are having difficulties with Ubuntu. Support is volunteer-based, best-effort, and without warranty.


Introduction

The Ubuntu Vancouver LoCo is planning to launch "Support Saturdays" soon.

We are planning a weekly Rescue & Support Centre, at a regular time, on Saturdays, in a central transit-accessible neighbourhood. Sessions will be open to all of Vancouver without prejudice and without charge. Support is volunteer-based, best-effort, and without warranty.

Dates

Please join our group at meetup. We will post dates and full location information there. We are planning to run our first session on Saturday December 5th, 2009 (Please note that this is a work-in-progress, and is not fully implemented yet.)

Order of events and rules
