Introduction

Hi all guys! My name is Nicola, I'm an italian ICT-Addicted 25 years-old guy Wink ;) I'm a fan of new technologies and all that is someway related to computing-world.

Presentation

I'm an early internet user: my first experience of the web is dated around year 1996, when the surf speed was cut down by a 28800bps modem and you had to pay an annual fee to your ISP...nice memories :-P

Past

I've had an instruction devoted to languages and law/economy (Liceo Linguistico Europeo ad indirizzo Giuridico-Economico), but when I went to University I chosed the Computer Engineering field.

My Linux experience passed across different distributions, like:

  • Suse
  • Slackware
  • Gentoo
  • Fedora
  • Debian
  • and finally Ubuntu!

Present

I have been positively impressed by the Now I think i've found the interior peace and I will stay with it for long Smile :) That's why I'd like to collaborate to this nice project. Currently I'm doing some italian translation for Ubuntu packages, but I'm trying to find a group where to become an active member and give my experience to it!
