Reporting Bugs

• If you want to report a bug about FWTS or FWTS-Live, please follow these steps:

  1. file the bug against the FWTS Project in Launchpad

  2. provide the info on which version of FWTS or FWTS-Live this bug is identified in the launchpad bug

  3. provide the the steps to reproduce the bug and attach the results.log file

  4. if the bug is ACPI related, please also provide the acpidump

     • use $sudo acpidump > acpidump.log

     • or $sudo fwts --dump

  5. if the bug is about FWTS-Live, add the prefix [FWTS-Live] to the bug's subject line

Feature Requests

• If you want to request for a new feature in FWTS or FWTS-Live, please do following:

  1. file a bug against the FWTS Project in Launchpad

  2. add the prefix [FEAT] to the bug's subject line

  3. provide detailed description about the feature you're requesting in the bug description

  4. if the feature request is for FWTS-Live, add the prefix [FWTS-Live] to the bug's subject line
