The Ubuntu HoustonTeam has no "regular" place for meetings, yet. These are some potential venues.

Stag's Head Pub on Portsmouth near Rice U - went there last night for a meetup and they had free wifi, good beer and a side room that can be reserved for groups.

Other places with beer and free wifi I'm going to check out include:

  • Fox and Hound on I-45 South & Fuqua

  • Little Woodrows 2301 W. Alabama, 77098
  • Richmond Arms

  • SRO Sports Bar & Cafe 444 Northwest Mall, 77092

  • The Tasting Room 1101-18 Uptown Park Blvd., 77005
  • The Wet Spot 160 West Gray St, 77019 (not in the best area of town)
  • Vito's Deckhouse 20237 Gulf Freeway, 77598
  • The Flying Saucer 705 Main St, 77002 (downtown parking problems)
  • Panera Bread - various locations
  • Freebirds World Burrito - one at 3745 Greenbriar, another in Clear Lake
