Proposal: Camara Workshop

Camara, the irish charity that sends edubuntu computers to schools in Africa, has kindly offered the use of their workshop for a release party. It's in Thomas Street, Dublin. There's plenty of space and lots of tea and biscuits available. There's a lovely little pub next door, McGuirders, so we can go for a few pints later. The location is great because one can walk from town.

Promotion

A party is no fun without people! We need to make sure people know about it beforehand. Once it's over, people need to know how much fun it was!

Letting people know it's on

Telling the existing Irish Linux community that this is on will be easy. A post to ILUG and boards.ie can take care of a lot of it.

The hardest bit will be telling non-linux users about it.

Post party promotion

It would be cool if there was some journalists there. If not we can write a press release after it.
