Linux user since 1997, servers and desktop. It all started with RedHat 5, and the great migration began. While attending DeVry in 1998 I helped found Linux@DeVry, a short lived Linux users group. Short lived as I left DeVry to move back to Kingman AZ in November 1999. We opened a *Nix Storefront, Mohave Linux Systems (tuxpc.com) , providing home users with low cost Nix PCs and businesses with affordable/scalable firewalls and network security. That was the dream at least, the store closed in Aug 2000 ( investors bailed ).

*Currently using Ubuntu 7.04, KUbuntu, SLaX , and DsL -- looking into a PBX system and a HTPC system.

*Distributing free copies of Ubuntu 7.04 to local stores, and the Kingman Unified School District ( where I work currently). Update The local school district is using Ubuntu on some of our servers.

*Cooking up a liveDVD ( Feisty 7.04 ) for [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArizonaTeam Ubuntu-Arizona LoCo]( I borrowed the idea from Ubuntu select), choices for install are: Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Edubuntu. Screenshots coming soon. It will be up on torrent soon as I get it ready, about 4G iso image.
