Description

Support actually can cover a wide area, but here we are focusing on user-to-user based help. The main areas where this takes place is in various forums, mailing lists, and IRC. Even social networking must be considered as a support place now.

Why it rocks

Providing support is awesome for a number of reasons:

  • It does not require advanced skills or knowledge from everybody; Your own experiences in discovering things in Kubuntu is the perfect place to start.
  • You actually end up learning more as you go, which increases your own knowledge and skills; this can be a gateway to learning many other things, from bug triaging to packaging, even to programming.
  • Love and respect from everyone
