Pending issues

• Occasionally the Broadcom WLAN adapters does not work.
• Untested 7.04 issues on newer versions (hibernate, euro key, sleep-wakeup)

• There seems to be multiple versions of this notebook. Here, for Ubuntu 7.04 is described a version with the Broadcom WLAN, 2000 mAh Li-ion battery, VGA ATI Radeon Xpress 1100, 60GB hard disk. For Ubuntu 8.10 is described a version with 80GB hard disk.

Wireless NIC

• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 7.04 (Feisty Fawn): Occasionally the Broadcom WLAN adapters does not work. (IRQ not ready error.) This can be fixed by unloading and loading the bcm43xx module
• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex): The broadcom issues seem to be related with a hardware matter; Microsoft Windows sometimes doesn't detect any wifi network.

Local language characters

• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 7.04 (Feisty Fawn): Doesn't type $ nor €.
• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.04 (Hardy Heron): All works on french keyboard
• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex): $ nor € not tested.

Live-CD boots until desktop

• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.04 (Hardy Heron): 32 bit and 64 bit works from desktop install CD
• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex): 64-bits Live-CD doesn't boot; only shows a basic console screen.
