Video
Playing videos in Totem gives tearing. Out of the box glxgears leaves traces and bad performance. To fix this install kernel 2.6.30rc3-generic and add the following to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf in the device section.
Option "AccelMethod" "uxa" Option "EXAOptimizeMigration" "true"
It still doesn't fix the video tearing issues though.
intel driver 2.7.0 doesn't fix the tearing problem. Compiz is also affected by this.
Suspend
Suspend is broken. All open programs are closed when resuming.
Wireless NIC
Wireless disconnectes randomly. And when it does WPA2 accesspoints are not listed in network-manager.
Solution:
# sudo apt-get install wicd
Works so far with wicd.
Hotkeys
Mute
Sound from the built in speakers get muted but not the headphones. No change in the volume manager when the button is pressed.
