Current Hardware Issues

• boots with: vga=771 acpi=force irqpoll
• cpufreq: "centrino" reported, but does'nt load (speedstep-centrino), so p4-clockmod used

  • the ath0 antenna switch is only accessible by windows-driver... workaround:
  • install kernel-headers,

  • download http://rfswitch.sourceforge.net/

  • install rfswitch (make install)
  • in /etc/network/interfaces: load the rfswitch module "pbe5" and turn on the antenna
    • post-up modprobe pbe5

    • post-up echo 1 > /proc/pbe5/radio

    • post-down echo 0 > /proc/pbe5/radio
