Quite a lot of changes in this period:
Line 17: Line 18:
 * [http://launchpad.net/~vorlon Steve Langasek] became MOTU. As part of his release management duties, he did a bunch of uploads and everybody is happy to have him in the team.
 * After kick-ass work on the DesktopTeam [http://launchpad.net/~lool Loïc Minier] is now a MOTU. Go `lool`!
 * [http://launchpad.net/~shawarma Søren Hansen] and [http://launchpad.net/~geser Michael Bienia] joined the [:MOTU/Council:MOTU Council], [http://launchpad.net/~gauvainpocentek Gauvain Pocentek] and [http://launchpad.net/~sistpoty Stefan Potyra] retired from it. The MOTU Council is taking care of MOTU membership approvals and the body of governance for the ["MOTU"] team.
 * Having contributed myriads of fixes and updates through the MOTU team, [https://launchpad.net/~dktrkranz Luca Falavigna] became MOTU himself. Congratulations!
 * [http://launchpad.net/~jdong John Dong] is a MOTU! After years of work in Ubuntu (the Backports team, MOTU team, Forums, etc.) John finally became part of the team!
 * We had a MOTU Q&A session, on [:MOTU/Q%26A/Logs/16-11-07:Nov. 16th].
 * [http://daniel.holba.ch/blog/ Daniel Holbach] started the [http://daniel.holba.ch/blog/?cat=15 Ask MOTU] blog.
 * [http://www.themuso.com/ Luke Yelavich] is on [http://planet.ubuntu.com Planet Ubuntu] now.
 * [http://behindmotu.wordpress.com/2007/11/14/mathias-gug/ Matthias Gug was interviewed] by [http://behindmotu.wordpress.com/ Behind MOTU].
 * NEW Packages: mythtv-theme-neon-wide, mythtv-theme-glass-wide, mythtv-theme-blootube-wide, mythtv-theme-blootubelite-wide, mythtv-theme-blootube, xfmedia-remote-plugin, mythtv-theme-mythbuntu, emelfm2

 * rainct joined the team as a mentor and is now mentoring bobbyward, thanks rainct!
 * emgent and vorian are not MOTU, way to go guys!!
 * warp10 is now mentoring didrocks and pitti is mentoring tacone.

 * porthose, huats and nxvl have joined the reception team and are now busy helping with matching and updating our records and documentation. Welcome on board guys!

 * To coordinate better the work flow within the reception I have requested a team mailing list, request which so far was unanswered. In the meantime, we have setup a private mailing list.

 * We are pushing the new mentoring model through (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Mentoring/NewModel). We are right now in a transition period, busy updating our documentation and ready to roll off the new program.

Welcome to the MOTU reporting page. Every month this page should be filled with bullet points indicating the summary of some of the work you have been working on. As you work on something, try to summarize it here. A few guidelines for how to write good points here:

  • Keep it simple and short - single sentences are best. Smile :)

  • Try to summarise your work and not be over-detailed - we don't need to know specifics, just a summary of the kind
  • Where possible, include relevant links.

You should get all your reporting included here by the 22nd of every month.
