Documentation Guidelines
Please have a look at our guidelines for writing documentation!
The guidelines contain a lot of DOs and DONTs. See it as recommendations.
All wikis for running Ubuntu on a Mac reside in the user community pages
and everybody is free to contribute to them.
The MactelSupportTeam tries to improve the overall
comprehensibility of these documents.
Creating a new page
A wiki about a certain Mac hardware belongs into the community help pages.
If you like to create such a wiki, do the following steps:
Right click, open in new tab and login at help.ubuntu.com/community.
Create a new page: Right click and open in new tab MacProduct x,x and Ubuntu x.xx (codename)
Adjust the product name, model-identification and Ubuntu version in the browser URL.
Example: MacBook Air 3,1 and Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope)Choose MactelSupportTeam/DocTemplate as template for your wiki.
Thank you for using the Mactel documentation template!

Forum Support
A generic support forum for both Intel and PowerPc based Macs can be found here:
The Apple Users' Ubuntu Support Forum.
Since we don't have a mailing list, we use a dedicated thread, to coordinate our activities:

Find and clean up out-dated and/or redundant links like https://help.ubuntu.com/community/mactel. Create a list of out-dated links. Try to contact the writer and ask him to bring his pages up-to-date so we can link it, maybe to join us, or if we can delete the old stuff, to avoid confusion.
