Requirements

1. Availability: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/a/axis available for all supported architectures

2. Rationale:

   • build dependency of libmx4j-java

3. Security:

   • CVE and Secunia: Irrelevant entries only. An independent search reveals what is probably only one problem, in 2002, reported on BugTraq and forwarded to the Apache security list. Context and followups elsewhere suggest that this problem was fixed at the time. -iwj

   • Java library package, no binary
   • Quick and shallow source code review performed.

4. Quality assurance:

   • Library package works out of the box, no debconf questions
   • Package not in Debian

5. Standards compliance:

   • FHS, Debian Policy compliant

   • Use cdbs packaging system (debhelper/cdbs/dbs), simple-patchsys

6. Dependencies:

   • Dependencies all in main, except wsdl4j
