Requirements

1. Availability: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/o/o3read/ ; available for all supported architectures

2. Rationale:

   • Let tracker index OpenOffice.org documents.

   • Make possible to install the library by default.
   • Drop the internal copy of o3read that tracker ships.

3. Security:

   • Just one (very old) CVE entry for o3read http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvekey.cgi?keyword=o3read.

   • Same old entry in Secunia history.

   • No binaries running as root or suid/sgid.
   • Does not open any port.

4. Quality assurance:

   • See Debian bugs

   • See Ubuntu bugs

   • Does not deal with exotic hardware which we cannot support.

5. Standards compliance:

   • Meets Debian Policy
