Rationale:
- Currently the default Ubuntu installation comes with no decent font to create, edit, modify Urdu documents.
- Nafees Web Naskh is already the most popular (open source) Urdu font among web masters, bloggers, urdu application developers, urdu desktop publishing.
- With this font available by default Ubuntu becomes out of the box usable for people who want to work with Urdu.
Security:
No CVE entries.
No Secunia history.
- No binaries running as root or suid/sgid.
- Does not open any port.
- Source code review:
Quality assurance:
- Package works out of the box without configuration.
- Package does not ask any debconf questions higher than priority 'normal'.
No showstopper Debian bugs.
Good maintenance in Debian.
Active upstream.
No critical bugs in upstream bug tracker
- Does not deal with exotic hardware which we cannot support.
Standards compliance:
Meets the FHS, Debian Policy
Meets Debian library packaging guide standards.

Dependencies:
- All in main.
- If this font couldn't be included in Ubuntu Default installation then atleast it should be added as a dependency for following packages language-support-ur, language-pack-ur-base, language-pack-ur, language-pack-gnome-ur-base, language-pack-gnome-ur, language-pack-kde-ur-base, language-pack-kde-ur, openoffice.org-l10n-ur-in
