1. Availability: The package is available in ubuntu universe and builds on our three major platforms

2. Rationale: The package is required for the Edubuntu desktop

3. Security: No CVEs or other security issues

4. Quality assurance:

   • Needs no setup after install
   • No bugs in Ubuntu

   • Just (late July 2005) changed maintainership. Needs new version packaged in debian. Possible legal issues with current package, old version might need to be removed from Debian. See Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=tuxtype Debbugs]

5. Standards compliance:

   • The package meets the FHS. Possible Debian Policy issues, see above
   • A bit chaotic, but manageable packaging.
