1. Availability:

   • The package is available in universe, source is already in main.

2. Rationale:

   • Zope3 is a new stable branch of the well-known python web application framework.
   • Schooltool and schoolbell depends on Zope3.

3. Security:

   • Some issues in the past; upstream supports several stable releases.

4. Quality assurance:

   • Needs to setup instances after install, which could be done through dzhandle utility from zope-common package (already in main).

   • No bugs in "Debbugs"

5. Standards compliance:

   • The package meets the FHS and the Debian Policy.
   • Standard debhelper packaging.

   • zope3 and zope3-lib look like if they could be Arch:all.

6. Dependencies:

   • python2.4, zope-common (already in main)
